After making its debut at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2024, Skechers returned to the runway with a second act that blended contemporary style codes with the brand’s signature focus on comfort. More than 450 industry insiders and digital tastemakers attended the high-octane presentation, which unveiled a refined, trend-conscious vision shaped in collaboration with renowned stylist Min Luna. The curated looks were styled with Skechers’ signature footwear, including the Skechers Monster Evo, the Court Classics Jade, and the ever-popular D’Lites Series.

Adding to the runway narrative was an exclusive collaboration with rising Malaysian designer Masyadi Mansoor, who is also BURO Impact Awards’ 2024 Designer of the Year. In the Skechers x MSYD capsule, the pulse of local streetwear was distilled into apparel designed for all-day wear, reimagined with a refined, fashion-forward sensibility—recasting everyday ease in the language of modern street culture.

“KLFW continues to be an important platform for Skechers to express our evolving identity as a brand. This year, our collaboration with MSYD allowed us to take a step further, merging bold local streetwear with our comfort innovation in a collection designed to move,” shares Ms. Zann Lee, Managing Director of Skechers Southeast Asia.

Launching in all black, the Skechers x MSYD collection spotlights three key pieces. The long-sleeve shirt features relaxed tailoring and edgy asymmetric cuts, punctuated by sharp cuff detailing. The Raglan Sleeve Tee makes a graphic statement with a bold Skechers x MSYD print, while its sculpted silhouette channels Masyadi’s signature aesthetic. Rounding out the collection is the oversized quilted Sling Bag, whose soft-padded form marries urban sensibility with practical design.

“This collaboration with Skechers gave me the freedom to create something that reflects the spirit of our streets: raw, expressive, and always moving,” said Masyadi. “From the silhouettes to the textures, every detail was intentional. I wanted it to feel like something real people would wear every day, but with attitude.”

The recent showcase also introduced the Skechers Hotshot collection, a fresh take on lifestyle sneakers that blends retro court style with current streetwear energy. Constructed with duraleather and suede overlays, these designs rest on plush Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insoles, delivering lasting comfort with considered detailing. Anchored by three signature silhouettes—Pyke, Kickoff, and Cool Glow—the collection redefines streetwear essentials for the style-savvy and those constantly on the move.

The Skechers x MSYD and Skechers Hotshot collections are now available at select Skechers concept stores, including Pavilion KL, Suria KLCC, The Exchange TRX Mall, and 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
