This month’s headlines include the arrival of Gentle Monster’s 2024 collection, the appointment of Jamie Dornan as Loewe’s brand ambassador and Onitsuka Tiger’s collaboration with Astro Boy.

The Loewe family expands with the addition of Jamie Dornan as its latest ambassador. The Northern Irish actor is not new to the Spanish brand, having been featured in various campaigns, including the SS24 men’s runway collection lensed by David Sims. Of the appointment, creative director Jonathan Anderson says: “Having watched many of Jamie’s films and following his work closely, he was front of mind when we were thinking about a new ambassador for Loewe. I’ve always liked how his performances embody a sense of strength that feels very pure and organic.” On the same note, Dornan expressed his delight in working with Anderson and shared his excitement about the new role. Dornan now joins the ranks of Taylor Russell, Yang Mi and Taeyong of NCT as a spokesperson for the brand.

The native New Yorker is captured in a series of stills and videos that not only highlight his relationship with the city but also show off his confident presence in the brand’s most iconic styles. As seen on the award-winning actor, the latest Underwear collection breathes new life into classic designs with new logo treatment and materials for stylish, everyday comfort. Styles like Intense Power, Micro Stretch and Micro Mesh combine daring design with advanced fabrication, while the Modern and Cotton Stretch underwear choices stand as must-haves for every wardrobe.

Suga shines in the spotlight as the star of Valentino’s The Narrative Men’s campaign. Captured by Theo Wenner under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli, the campaign looks into his journey as a celebrity and his connection with ARMYs, seen through the streets and studios of Seoul. In line with its commitment to redefining the boundaries of fashion, Gentle Monster launches its 2024 collection, setting a fresh standard for innovation and style. One of the main styles is the Dada RC6, featuring a structural butterfly shape with a vivid red frame and an iconic metal detail on the translucent temples. Balenciaga is bringing back the iconic Le City bag, and it’s better than ever. The latest iteration is crafted from Arena leather and incorporates several elements from archival designs, including the original-sized studs, laced zipper pulls and lacquered leather handles and straps. The Maison revealed the refreshed handbag through the Closet campaign, shot and directed by Inez & Vinoodh. Onitsuka Tiger celebrates its 75th anniversary this year and marks the milestone by collaborating with Astro Boy, a beloved anime TV series in Japan. The limited-edition collection boasts 43 carefully selected items, from shirts and tracksuits to body bags and hats. The capsule also introduces the Mexico 66™ SD and the Dentigre™ Puff Boot as part of its offerings. Each piece is embellished with the Onitsuka Tiger logo and specially created Astro Boy designs.
