Milan Mens Fashion Week AW20 Street style: How to dress for the new decade
The first fashion shows in 2020 kick off with the menswear Autumn/Winter 2020 season. And the fashionable set in attendance was quick to show off their best street style flair come the new decade. Colour play was definitely a key theme for the week, with pastel flourishes, bold hues, and colour blocking as seen from looks 2 to 6, which continues to prove that the ole styling trick is a shoo-in for perfecting a sharp, tailored yet effortless look, that's sure to turn heads.
Artful layering was also spotted. Ribbed tunics worn over long-sleeved sweaters, as seen on looks 7 and 8 too added a pop of colour and heightened the regular sweater weather ensemble. Statement accessories were also a hit. Oval, square and oversized over-the-top eye frames (looks 9 through 12) perfectly shaped their wearers' peepers whilst giving us a glimpse into their personalities. If there was one unifying trait all these street style snaps shared, it's that the best way to nailing an outfit is through individuality. As Yves Saint Laurent once famously said, "Fashions fade, [but] style is eternal", and that couldn't be more true with this set.
