Back for its sixth year, Starhill Gallery Fashion Week returns with a glamorous four-day fashion event set to take place at Starhill Gallery’s Adorn Concourse from 6-9 April 2016. From the runways of the fashion capitals to the heart of Kuala Lumpur, a string of both international and local designer labels will showcase their Spring/Summer 2016 collections, including Kenzo, Khoon Hooi, McQ Alexander McQueen, M Missoni and Valentino.
One notable highlight to look forward to this year is the ‘Monique Collignon Couture Light 2016: The Conscious Collection’ exhibition, that will run from 2-12 April. The Dutch brand, worn by the likes of Giuliana Rancic, Carly Steel and Carice van Houten, features bespoke creations made of high-quality materials made from recycled plastic bottles. Fashion that is environmentally conscious? We approve.
Three other renowned Malaysian designers, whose names are being kept secret for now, will also be showing their SS16 collections. Runway shows aside, the four-day fashion-filled event will also feature special in-store deals, exclusive complimentary gifts, services and parties for an exciting experience.
