Taylor Swift and Stella McCartney are collaborating on a fashion line
Swifties were in for a treat yesterday as Taylor Swift went on Instagram Live to confirm details of her seventh studio album, Lover. But for fashion fans, they were also in for another treat. The singer revealed that in conjunction with the record drop—scheduled on Aug 23—she would also be partnering up with Stella McCartney on a fashion collection. This marks Swift's first collaboration with a fashion designer. In the video, the 29-year-old singer said, "She's been a friend for a really long time and also just a woman that I respect so much. I respect what she creates, how she creates it. There are so much whimsy and imagination and romance to the clothing that she designs. I've worn a lot of her stuff recently, and she's heard the new album, and this new collaboration is inspired by the Lover album." While not much have been revealed, Swift was recently spotted in a pair of rainbow coloured sneakers from the collection during the iHeartRadio Wango Tango concert earlier this month. We're definitely liking what we see.
Stay tuned for more updates.
