After the unveiling of Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Supreme on the runway at Paris Men’s Fashion Week yesterday, it seems as though this capsule collection is likely the most-talked-about accessories lineup for Men’s Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2017. We aren’t surprised—when rumours of this collab surfaced last month, fans of both brands alike (along with the general social media) were ecstatic. “No New York City men’s conversation is complete without Supreme,” say Louis Vuitton Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones.
What transpired from this cross-cultural collection is a range of clothing, accessories, and jewellery crafted with classic techniques of the house—some styles were revived from the archives as well. Available in red Epi leather, black Epi leather and a new jacquard camouflage fabric woven with Louis Vuitton monogram and Supreme’s logo, items include skate decks in monogram trunks, fanny packs (because the early Nineties are relevant for this collection), well-structured backpacks, and small leather goods such as card holders, phone cases, and driving gloves.
