Weekend street style inspo: Leigh Lezark

A major reason to love street style queen and one third of creative collective The Misshapes Leigh Lezark (apart from her sleek, razor-sharp bob and awe-inducing shoe closet) is her penchant for prints. If you were following street style shots closely during the past fashion month, you’d find that her go-to is always motifs of all sorts (either one statement piece or head-to-toe)—an element that ups her OOTD game thanks to the edgy way she styles herself.

Case in point: A chic, bold pink-and-red jacquard coat she donned during day three of LFW SS16 is causing us some serious closet envy. Here’s how you can dress in style like Leigh:

Similar to Leigh’s coat but sans the intricate 3D detailing, this Mary Katrantzou Damalon coat is a silk blend that incorporates elements of classic (the collar and floral jacquard effect) and modern (straight hem and colour-blocking).

All you need next is a black silk-merino wool blend sweater from T by Alexander Wang so that attention isn’t detracted from the loveliness of your coat.

Ankle-grazing trousers such as Saint Laurent’s tapered wool-gabardine skinny pants will instill a polished vibe to your outfit.

For added height and a touch of flair, go for Nicholas Kirkwood black suede platform sandals that has an oversized pearl accent underneath the sole.

An understated accessory is the last step to her autumn-chic outfit such as a black slip-through hand strap clutch. Tuck in the gold chainlink shoulder strap of Chloé Elle medium clutch and there you have it—a complete getup worthy of the stylish street style star.
