PFW SS19: All the head-turning prints that gave the streets of Paris that spruce up

The temperature drop in Paris signifies the arrival of Autumn, and while we’ve been spotting 50 shades of brown—not exaggerating—on the streets, peppered among them, were pops of colourful prints that gave the mostly neutral ensembles a jolt of vibrancy—just the spruce-up we needed! Florals, for example, were spotted in vintage prairie-like print, and some, in painterly blooms. Of course, this season’s hottest motif—the leopard print—made an appearance on the sidewalk, mostly in the form of coats that were layered over mini dresses. Think it’s impossible to rock more than two prints at once? Susie Bubble (in look 19) proved that it’s all about the attitude—rocking a look with patchwork, stripes, checks and leopard all in one. If you’re not confident about emulating Susie’s get-up, here’s our advice: don darker colours à la look 5 and 22 for fail-proof results, or opt for a bold one-piece to let it do the talking.
