Holy Matrimony: Inside Sheena Liam’s dreamy wedding in Lithuania

Malaysian model and Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2 winner, Sheena Liam wedded multidisciplinary artist Ernest Zacharevic early this September. The artsy duo (when she’s not in front of the camera, you can find her with a needle and thread in hand, deep in her embroidery art) tied the knot in Ernest’s home country of Lithuania. The church ceremony was held in the Church of St.Francis and St.Bernard—a Roman Catholic church in the old town of Vilnius. Constructed in the late 16th century, the church is a classic example of gothic architecture in Lithuania.

Sheena went local for her church wedding dress and opted with a 3-in-1 lace gown by Celest Thoi. Dreamy and ethereal, the contemporary design was handcrafted with vintage lace with a detachable tulle overlay, which gave the gown versatility and could be worn three different ways. With her hair up in a neat, chic bun and pearlescent studs, Sheena looked like a modern day princess. The groom wore a gray three-piece suit by Cutter and Tailor with a black bow-tie—how cute! And now to the entourage, the beautiful bridesmaids flew in from all over the globe (Paris, London, Singapore, Malaysia and America) to be at Sheena’s big day and wore matching white halter neck dresses by Doublewoot with a delicate tulip-hem.

Below, 19 photographs by Agnė Papievytė of the joyous ceremony plus additional insight from the beautiful bride.
