Three cheers for #TeamCoach

Executive Creative Director of Coach 1941, Stuart Vevers, has been busy giving the storied American house a cool new identity. With the brand celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, Vevers—an Englishman—delved deep into the rich and varied stew of Americana, showing a gorgeous mixed bag of patchwork, varsity and military influences for Fall 2016. His modern illustrations of a traditional letterman jacket were firm favourites—rendered both in cropped and elongated silhouettes with a variety of varsity patches also seen as accents on bags.

Leather and shearling outerwear also featured heavily in the collection—a language that Vevers has taken to with particular relish. Big and fuzzy teddy coats were both luxurious and practical—providing a much needed layer of protection over the summery dresses worn underneath. Coach’s Fall 2016 collection is now available in store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur but for a full look at the collection, check out the gallery below.
