The hype intensifies with the second trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The 45-second drop opens with Luke Skywalker back on the ship that marks the commencement of all the events that have led to now. Docked on Ahch-To, the trailer transitions from a beautiful wide shot of the setting to Skywalker reconciling with the cockpit that stirs up memories of his past.

The upcoming film picks up right where the previous box office hit left off. “Darkness rises, and the Light to meet it.” The trailers thus far have engineered the notion of a battle—most likely—between Rey and Kylo Ren. But if you haven’t already heard, rumour mills have been populating the twist of Rey flipping to the dark side. “This is not going to go the way you think.” Could this line from Luke Skywalker and its corresponding shot of Rey raising the lightsaber confirm the theory?
