2020 has been blessed with amazing Korean dramas, from Crash Landing On You and It’s Okay To Not Be Okay to Start-Up and World of the Married. The 16-episode series—directed by Kim Sang Hyub and written by Lee She Eun—is described as a romantic comedy. The first episode will premiere on 9 December 2020 with a brilliant cast. They include Moon Ga Young (as Lim Joo Gyung), Cha Eun Woo (playing Lee Su Ho), Hwang In Yeop (playing Han Seo Jun), and Park Yoo Na (Kang Soo Jin).

Taking over the time slot occupied by Tale Of The Nine-Tailed, the Korean drama revolves around Lim Ju Gyeong and her insecurities, especially with her appearance. After learning about the art of makeup online, she made sure to never go anywhere with her bare face. True Beauty also showcases her relationship with Lee Su Ho—the only person boy that has ever seen her without makeup. Part of the drama’s premise lies in the search for true beauty and self-acceptance. We’ll have to watch what happens when the drama airs.
