An inside look into Sydney Film School’s take on Giorgio Armani’s ‘Films of City Frames’

Last week Giorgio Armani premiered the second edition of Films of City Frames, which comprised four short films from four participating international film schools. Centred around the fashion label’s Frames of Life eyewear collection as well as Giorgio Armani’s affinity for the filmmaking world, the short films each explored different perspectives shared through these frames.

One of the films that took an extra step when it came to understanding different perspectives was Clarity by Sydney Film School. Written and directed by Chris Joys, the heartwarming story follows a painter searching for inspiration. “It’s about all the little details and nuances which we overlook and which we don’t pay attention to in our day to day lives,” Joys explained. The young painter finally finds clarity in the most unexpected of ways when she meets a blind photographer.
