7 Minutes with Venice Min on her experience at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2017

Hi Venice! How was the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2017?

One word: Amazing! It was a great experience attending the live show but even better because I got to visit the Angels when they were doing their hair and makeup. 

 

 

 

Was it very different watching it from the audience as compared to watching it online?

Quite. I didn’t expect the venue to be that massive. It’s like a stadium and there were so many people at the event. 

 

Show us what you wore to the show. 

I wore Michael Kors to the backstage and then Melinda Looi to the show. 

Favourite Victoria’s Secret Angel? 

It’s so hard to pick just one. I love Lily Aldridge and Sui He. They’re not only beautiful but you can feel their warmth from the way they present themselves. I remember they were really humble when I met them backstage and it only made me admire them even more. I always believed that a person is beautiful not just based on looks but also how well they carry themselves – well-mannered, friendly and humble. 

Best performer of the night?

(Laughs) I can’t pick one again. I’d say Jane Zhang and Harry Styles. The whole setup and atmosphere really lit up the show. 

 

Did you meet any other celebs there?

I met Davikah. She’s super friendly and so, so gorgeous.

What was your most memorable moment from the show?

Rather than the show, I think for me, it was visiting the Angels during their hair and makeup session before the show started. It was a rare opportunity and incredibly overwhelming. I managed to take a selfie with Lily Aldridge, Taylor Hill and Sui He (she told me that my makeup was nice). I even got to talk to Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Gisele Bundchen and a few other models. Bella didn’t allow me to take a picture with her because her hair wasn’t done yet so I tried to sneakily take a few shots – and failed (laughs). 

 

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2017 is scheduled to air on the 28th of November.
