British model Adwoa Aboah is more than meets the eye—the leggy beauty is also an activist for women, helming the online community Gurls Talk that focuses on creating a safe space for young women to discuss issues such as mental health, sex, and social media. Most recently, Aboah has added another role under her belt: She is the newest face of Marc Jacobs Beauty for 2018, with dedicated campaigns appearing in-store and all media platforms starting late 2017.

“Marc gave me my first fashion show in New York City. It was a dream come true and from that point on, he has been one of my biggest supporters,” says Aboah. “I am so excited to be the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, and to have been able to work alongside Marc once again is truly inspirational. His attention to detail is like no other and you see his vision instantly come to life.”

Aboah is now part of the posse of beauties who were (and for some, still are) faces of Marc Jacobs Beauty, including Kaia Gerber, Winona Ryder, Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell among the few. We caught first glimpse of the official campaign image shot by David Sims, featuring Aboah wearing the latest lip product from Marc Jacobs Beauty, Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon in a traffic-stopping shade, How Rouge. Available in stores this December, the new lip product is the first ever liquid lipstick in the form of a crayon. The innovative format is able to leave a pigmented colour via one swipe, and its crayon tip allows you to colour and shape your lips with precision. The formula is also imbued with a subtle shimmer that leaves your lips with an impactful finish coupled with 16-hour wear.
