Runway Beat: How ribbon bows are dominating the runways

Move over, gems and pearls, ribbon bows are taking over. Here are the prettiest bow-embellished runway beauty looks from recent years.

The lavish world of fashion has always been interconnected with the beauty sphere—they’re inseparable soul mates. As designers set the latest sartorial trends with their exquisite fineries each season, elsewhere, makeup artists are doing the same in their own realm while simultaneously completing the designer’s vision with intricate looks that tie everything together.

That said, with ribbon bows dominating the runways as of late—as seen on Moschino’s SS23 runway and Terrence Zhou’s many campy designs (one of which was worn by the Jennifer Coolidge for W Mag!)—the beauty department has followed suit.
