This month, our favourite beauty products run the gamut from sheer highlighters for an au naturel, post-lockdown glow, cream blushes for a radiant flush and a couple of skincare keepers that are worthy of bagging:
new-age glow
Chanel les beiges sheer healthy glow highlighting fluid
First thoughts: Easily blendable texture that isn’t viscous or goopy—really weightless and leaves an ultra-natural finish. I like that it left a subtle scent on the skin—even better when applied on the décolletage/arms for a subtle glow.
worth scoring if: You’re steering clear from the high-impact, blinding highlighter finish and looking to ace the summer-ready glow that’ll turn heads under the sun.

Line it up
shiseido LipLiner Inkduo
First thoughts: Multifunctional makeup products are the best, especially when it’s designed to give you a fuss-free experience (read: no need for sharpeners). The primer works well on my lips and I like that the lip pencil glides on easily—kind of like using crayon, but on my lips instead. Time check: the colour stayed on for a good six hours.
Worth scoring if: You’ve always been lazy with lip liners (and sharpening your pencils); and if chapped lips are the reason why you only use tinted lip balms.

a Pretty flush
fenty beauty cheeks out freestyle cream blush
First thoughts: Confession: I’d pick cream blushers or powder and liquid formulations any day. This recent one was a no-brainer—it’s sheer, buildable, comes in a tonne of colour options (that I never knew I needed), and it’s quite stunning on the skin.
worth scoring if: You don’t need a reason, really. Just try it.

quench your skin
fresh rose deep hydration oil-infused serum
First thoughts: I always feel apprehensive when trying oil-in-anything products, but this one didn’t leave my skin greasy or clogged (it is non-comedogenic). It absorbs fast and leaves skin looking fresh (no pun intended) and glowy.
worth scoring IF: You haven’t found an oil formulation that is the one—and your skin needs a serious boost of hydration.

fountain of youth
clef anti-aging mask
first thoughts: This is made for serial maskers (like yours truly) and while the fit could’ve been better, the next-morning glow was pretty apparent. It’s packed with a lot of essence and felt luxe on the skin as well.
worth scoring: If you can’t resist adding another sheet mask to your already-impressive stash, and for its impressive benefits.
RM128, now available on Clef
