5 Stunning eye and face palettes we are crushing on this month

For an on-the-go, all-day-long glow:

Chanel Palette Essentielle Été – Éclat Solaire

What: Chanel’s new season face palette is all about aceing a fresh, summery glow. It comprises of a highlighter in beige-caramel, a highlighter in gold, and a blush in raspberry red — all of which can be used on the eyes, face and lips. This new set of sheer yet dewy textures will give your skin a sun-kissed look effortlessly.

How: For a luminous complexion, use the beige-caramel highlighter all over the face, and the gold highlighter on the inner corners of the eyes and on the eyelids. Blend the blush on the apples of the cheeks, and apply the same blush on the lips with your fingertips to give it a lovely tint.

Available at RM240 at all Chanel Beauty counters and stores nationwide

For a decadent, colour-drenched look:

Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Fantascene

What: Marc Jacobs Beauty launches a limited-edition, coconut-inspired collection this season. One of its star products is this palette that comes with four chic finishes: matte velvet, shimmering satin, sensual silk and metallic lamé. The plush, super pigmented shadow formulation allows you to experiment for a variation of looks too.

How: Apply the velvet and silk shadows along the inner and outer corners of the eyes. Add a wash of velvet matte in a light shade on the base of the brow bone, and a pop of satin on the middle of the eyelids. Blend well with a neutral silk shade. Complete your look with a lamé shade on top.

For a stellar, out-of-this-world look:

Make Up For Ever Star Lit Palette

What: Inspired by the galaxy’s variation of phosphorescence, Make Up For Ever’s palette has six colour harmonies in three finishes, including matte, metallic and chrome. Perfect for mixing and matching to create a plethora of extraordinary looks.

How: What we love about this palette is that it comes with three makeup artist cards to show you how to use it for maximum potential. Some tips to go by include — wear the matte shadows as a base on the lids, the metal shade as the crease colour, and the chrome colour for additional sparkles to the look.
