That’s where we come in—we’ve compiled some of our favourite new beauty brands (or, at least new to our corner of the Earth).

Sol de Janeiro
This Brazilian brand is a celebrity fave, having garnered a star-studded following that includes the likes of Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber. You’ll likely recognise the brand from its viral Bum Bum Cream (pronounced boom boom), but its humble lineup does cover both body and hair care too.
Salt and Stone
This body care brand puts self-care at its core, which has earned it a loyal following globally. Its range is comprised of natural (and effective!) deodorants, home scents, and sensorial body washes—the perfect companions for bath time and beyond.
Sigi Skin
This Singaporean brand officially launched in Malaysia back in May after having made waves across the industry for its vegan, superfood-infused and clinically-proven formulations. Included among the brand’s highly-rated lineup is a niacinamide and avocado-infused sunscreen, a kale and glycerin-infused cleanser, a plumping chamomile-infused hydrating mist, and much more!

Helmed by influencer Han Pin Ma, husband to beauty entrepreneur and skincare mogul Jane Chuck, Goteskin is the latest launch from his wellness brand. Created to simplify your skincare routine, the three-product unisex product range aims to cover the essentials—cleansing, toning and moisturising.
PS: According to Ma, a sunscreen and oil cleanser could very well be on its way soon too!
Melixir
If you’re looking for effective and ethical vegan products, we have good news: Korean cult brand Melixir is here with a stellar lineup of incredible K-Beauty products, inspired by Asian medicinal plants and thoughtfully crafted for sensitive skin. Our favourite pick from the lineup? The Vegan Airfit Sunscreen SPF50.
Aromatica
This Korean aromatherapy brand made its debut in Malaysia in late March of this year and has since garnered a loyal local following—for good reason. Leveraging natural, essential oil-based formulations for the hair and skin while placing sustainable practices at its core, it’s your new go-to for guilt-free indulgence.
Rituals
This Dutch wellbeing house opened the doors to its first-ever store in Mid Valley Megamall earlier this year, bringing its impressive roster of wellness and body care products to our neck of the world. From its cult-favourite foaming shower gels to its signature scented candles, Rituals is built on the ethos of transforming humdrum daily routines into mindful moments of self-care.

& Other Stories
& Other Stories made its Southeast Asia debut last year, and have only ramped up the hype for 2023 with the launch of its beauty range. Available exclusively through Zalora, the range is comprised of fragrance, bath and body products, as well as a small limited-edition Eau de Toilette collection—a fine addition to any vanity.
Dolce and Gabbana Beauty
In conjunction with the launch of the new Devotion EDP fragrance, Dolce and Gabbana has announced the new Devotion Makeup Collection, dedicated to and inspired by the scent. Comprised of three new products—the Devotion Extreme Volume Mascara, Face Illuminator, and Liquid Mousse Lipstick—the collection has a wide shade range, is completely vegan and is packed with incredible active ingredients sourced from small Italian communities.

Ulike
This Korean beauty brand is best known for its next-gen devices, and has finally made its debut in Malaysia! From painless hair removal with the Sapphire Air-3 to face sculpting with its facial devices and even pearlier whites with its dental devices, you’re covered from head to toe.
