Chryseis Tan’s cult-favourite skincare brand has unveiled its first-ever physical location at The Exchange TRX—here’s everything you need to know about it.
Founded in 2020 by Malaysian entrepreneur and personality Chryseis Tan, Lumi Beauty has operated on one mantra from the start, “gleam before glam”. The idea was simple: To get one’s natural beauty shining through—no filters or make-up needed! In addition, founder Chryseis Tan wanted to create an accessible skincare and beauty tool range that put natural and cruelty-free ingredients and materials front and centre.
Of course, this philosophy would go on to inspire the Lumi lineup from start to finish, where each product released since the brand’s inception has been carefully and thoughtfully formulated to be safe, natural and effective.

Since its launch, the brand has mostly been available online and through collaborations and pop-ups—notably, the Glowhouse space in Platinum Park launched in partnership with CocoDry and Tone Pilates last year was the biggest move forward for the brand’s physical presence—until now.

“I’m super proud and excited to announce that Lumi Beauty is the first local skincare brand to launch a store kiosk at the TRX Exchange Mall,” says founder Chryseis Tan at the store’s official opening earlier today.
You heard that right—Lumi Beauty has finally entered the physical retail game permanently! Located at Level 1, City Avenue, Hall C in The Exchange TRX, the Lumi Beauty kiosk is the brand’s first-ever standalone store. The kiosk is an eye-catching structure, marked by a mix of low cylindrical structures and high arches painted in a warm, sunny yellow and accented with sweet lavender counters on which the brand’s products have been displayed.
