The hime cut, also known as the princess cut, was huge on this year’s red carpet, gracing the heads of both Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga alike.

Cyrus paired her hime cut with sleek lengths, chunky highlights and a swooping, blunt bang—the perfect blend of edge and femininity.

Gaga leaned right into the gothic, pairing her hime cut with a blunt microbang and bleached brows.

Trend #2: OTT maximalist makeup

Following her meteoric rise last year, Chappell Roan has become the one to watch on the red carpet.
