Two years after opening its flagship store at Fashion Avenue in Pavilion KL, diptyque has gone through a brand new facelift and here’s why we think it is worth checking out. With a new reinterpretation of the iconic original design of diptyque’s Boulevard St. Germain boutique in Paris, the store’s atmosphere evokes a warm, elegant vibe that complements its decadently scented candles and perfumes.
The new space features subtle design elements that are similar to the global revamp of all diptyque stores worldwide, from a geometric design table featuring the latest products to a vintage chandelier and modern wooden floors. In the early 60s, the Parisian store originally displayed limited editions of objects that the founders brought back from their travels around the world on wooden display shelves; and as inspired from that, the current Pavilion store holds wooden bookcases stacked atop wooden furniture on each side of the boutique, presenting new finds to passerbys easily.
