#BuroBrides: Honeymoon beauty essentials to bring along

About to head off to your honeymoon after exchanging vows with your significant other? Pack on these must-haves in your beauty kit to ensure you look as good as you did during the wedding. From in-shower masks to herbal deodorants, we’ve got you covered:

A honeymoon’s only the best time to indulge in skin saviours such as masks. Try the new Sulwhasoo Snowise Exfoliating Mask that has white ginseng powder and honey to brighten and smooth skin by removing dead skin cells and cleansing away impurities in your pores. The best part? It’s a two-in-one, in-shower mask that scrubs and nourishes skin with its gel formula. Your post-honeymoon glow might just be attributed to this winner.

For everyday hydration, use the new Shiseido Synchro Skin Tinted Gel Cream that helps to moisturise your skin with adequate coverage at the same time. Its lightweight gel-cream formula is imbued with mineral water from the pure mountain springs of Kirishima, Japan. With up to four hours of hydration and eight-hour long coverage, your skin might just need this, especially after being subjected to dry air and stressors from all the travelling.

We all know how important it is to have a facial mist to leave a long-lasting moisturising effect especially when you’re up in the air. Laneige’s Water Bank Moisture Mist is the perfect addition to your travel kit to deliver instant moisture to your skin. It has Green Mineral Water with extracts from brussel sprouts, artichokes and lima beans to help strengthen the layer of your skin, thus generating and retaining moisture for a longer time period.

If a full-face makeup is too arduous a task for your honeymoon, skip it—but don’t forget to keep your lips in check. Make Up For Ever’s Artist Hydrabloom Hydrating Lip Balm has hyaluronic acid spheres to smooth and moisturise lips (up to 24 hours!), and it also gives a subtle hue that’s natural to boot. Use it throughout the day to keep chapped lips at bay.

Before you shrug away the importance of a good deodorant, just know that it absolutely helps even before you pile on your favourite perfume. If you’re gonna be out in the sun during your honeymoon, make sure you get your tan on while smelling fresh with Aesop’s Herbal Deodorant Roll-On. This aluminium- and alcohol-free deodorant prevents and masks underarm odour with a concoction of Zinc Ricinoleate (to address bacteria compounds), Wasabi extract and a blend of essential oils (rosemary, sage and eucalyptus). All you need to do is roll generously under each arm and you’re good to go!
