In case you missed the memo: Nars is releasing a new foundation in February (that’s just a couple of days away!), and it is definitely one worth looking out for. Available in 33 shades, the latest Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is a 16-hour, fade-resistant foundation that glides on like a dream and promises a radiant, all natural finish.
But before it officially lands it stores, we held our very first Facebook Live event with Nars yesterday morning to give you the low-down on this new wonder base. Hosted by our editor-in-chief Cai Mei Khoo at the Nars boutique in KLCC, we were joined by three Friends of Buro—Patricia K, Kiran Jassal and Juanita Ramayah. As a prelude to the event, we ran a mini game on social media last week to let our readers take a guess at the three girls’ ideal Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation shades.
After a week of anticipation and guesses, the answers were unveiled live on Facebook as each girl took their turn at the chair with the help of Nars makeup artist Jackie—did you guess correctly?

Then, Jackie gave a quick guide to Nars’ 4 steps to flawless skin. First, apply a primer that best suits your skin type—she recommends this as an essential step for longer-lasting makeup given our humid weather. Next, create the perfect, dewy canvas with the Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. Tip: a little goes a long way. As an optional step, use the Radiant Creamy Concealer where needed. Finally, set the makeup with powder. Using the 4-step guide, the girls proceeded to create their own day look while Cai Mei held a quick trivia with the viewers along with our deputy editor, Gwen Ong.
