The best parts from our decadent afternoon at #BuroBeautyLunch with Tom Ford Beauty

If everyday lunch constitutes a makeup workshop, exploring the latest beauty items in a Tom Ford Beauty store, and a hearty meal following said activities—let’s just say that this is the kind of lunch that we won’t mind partaking in every week. Just yesterday, our #BuroBeautyLunch that was hosted in collaboration with Tom Ford Beauty was all that and more.

Our esteemed guests arrived at the Tom Ford Beauty store in Suria KLCC at 11 in the morning, fresh-faced and ready to glean some professional beauty lessons. The itinerary of the day was simple and straightforward—a beauty workshop followed by power lunch at Open House.

Our guest list comprised girls who best embody the Tom Ford Beauty persona, including a slew of entrepreneurs, TV personalities and social media influencers such as Siti Saleha, Jane Chuck, Aina Syahirah, Bella Kuan, Reem Shahwa, Amanda Chaang, Angie Lai, and more. The star of the morning was the recently-launched Satin-Matte Cushion Compact Foundation by Tom Ford Beauty. Guests took turns to get their shade tested by experts in-store, while mingling and checking out more from the brand (not to mention, checking off their holiday gifting lists while they’re at it.)

Amidst witty quips and useful beauty tricks or two, guests managed to take away a couple of important lessons from the worshop, including how to shade and illuminate the features the right way (the area above the jawline is vastly different from the underline), application tips for the new cushion compact foundation, how to set makeup without dulling glow, and more.

Shortly after, it was time to feast! The girls adjourned to Open House for fine Malaysian cuisine coupled with refreshing drinks. In between heaping plates of Ayam Masak Merah and decadent, cinnamon-sugar encrusted churros, conversations flowed alongside glasses of bubbly (and coffee/tea, for the rest). Nothing beats wrapping up a fruitful afternoon than with a hearty meal, enjoyable company, and a slew of Tom Ford Beauty goodies, of course.
