The Dior Ball Of Dreams lands in Pavilion KL
As the holiday season approaches, Dior Beauty is going above and beyond to inspire the festive spirit. For the first time, the luxury house reinterprets Versailles with an exclusive holiday installation and pop-up at the Centre Court of Pavilion KL.
At the beginning of the journey is a 12-metre-tall Dior Christmas tree. The gilded installation is decorated with the iconic Dior sun-star symbol glimmers, iconic fragrance silhouettes and topped with a sparkling Dior star—the perfect way to welcome in the season. Next, comes the majestic Dior Carriage, alongside other festive decorations. Then, as you move through the pop-up, you’ll find a treasure trove of dreamy gift sets to shop spanning fragrance, makeup and skincare, each inspired by Château de Versailles.
The most exquisite of these gifts is the J’adore Music Box exclusive to the pop-up. The extraordinary, limited-edition gift set is a functional music box encased in white and gold and decorated with the signature Christian Dior Paris band. At its centre is J’adore L’Or, surrounded by enchanted gifts adorned by golden motifs created by artist Pietro Ruffo.
Finally, to top it all off, the Dior Holiday Café unveils the Dior Ball of Dreams High-Tea Set experience. Serving up gourmet delicacies inspired by the collection’s golden motifs, it’s a lovely treat for the season. Bookings are open to the public via link—click in to book your spot.

KL International Beauty Week returns for 2024

The city’s biggest beauty event of the year is back, and this time it is set to showcase over 160 local and international brands. The weekend-long extravaganza is packed with engaging activities, interactive workshops, and expert-led panels for visitors to enjoy. Discover new favourites at each beauty booth, or interact with beauty influencers at The Beauty Stage. Plus, you may stand a chance to win exciting prizes by showcasing your skills in the event’s Makeup Contest! In addition, the Beauty Passport initiative gives the first 500 visitors every day a chance to collect samples and participate in exclusive giveaways.
Tickets are free, but pre-registration through KOL Nation is advised to help you skip the queues. Alternatively, you can opt for the Beauty Express tickets at RM30, which grants you exclusive fast-track access to three days of KLIBW 2024!

Diptyque opens a new boutique at Mid Valley Megamall
Inspired by the charming interiors of Paris’ iconic Haussman apartments, Diptique’s latest boutique is a playful celebration of French and Malaysian design. Featuring stunning batik wallpaper, hibiscus wood trimming, and contemporary furnishings, it’s the perfect backdrop for the Maison’s stunning olfactory offerings. The piéce de resistance, however, is the handpainted floor-to-ceiling mural by artist Haris Rashid, a masterful and thoughtful addition to the space. Overall, the space is warm, cosy and inviting—the perfect setting to shop your favourites ahead of the holidays.

Cocodry reopens its brand-new Bangsar Outlet

Treat yourself to a full head pampering at the new-and-improved Cocodry! The blow dry bar has just opened the doors to its revamped Telawi branch, and it’s perfectly dreamy. Designed to whisk you away on an Italian summer, the salon has been decorated in the brand’s signature sunny yellow, paired with Mediterranean-style tiles and warm, woody accents. The general layout remains the same, with the salon opening to a generous, round-table style layout. However, the salon now also boasts a new surprise: a dedicated Tanned bakery corner to settle you in for your appointment with all of your favourite baked goodies.
