This month’s highlights include Blancpain’s reimagination of the recently discovered watch of Marilyn Monroe, the arrival of Japanese bridal jewellery brand I-Primo, and the latest addition to Tudor’s Daring Watches collection.

DIOR UPS THE ANTE WITH NEW HAUTE JOAILLERIE LINE

The realm of high jewellery continues to shine with Dior’s latest entry. Using universes dear to Christian Dior as her guiding light, artistic director Victoire de Castellane unveils a symphony of masterpieces in three distinctive chapters: lush vegetation, aquatic depths, and mysterious constellations. The references to clover, seabeds, and eclipses came alive against the Palazzo del Casinò, where they were first presented to the world.

BLANCPAIN HONOURS MARILYN MONROE

Marilyn Monroe’s jewellery watch makes a comeback just in time for the beloved actress’ 100th birthday. Blancpain’s Ladybird Tribute collection extracts the defining details of its predecessor: opaline dial, yellow gold applied hour markers, and conical hands. Crafted in 18K white gold with diamonds, the case houses the in-house Calibre 510 manual-winding movement, which promises a power reserve of 52 hours. It is then complemented by a double-wrap calf strap.

I-PRIMO LANDS IN KUALA LUMPUR

After taking the international jewellery scene by storm, I-Primo has made its foray into Malaysia. Opening its boutique at The Exchange TRX’s Seibu, the bridal jewellery brand looks to fill the gap in the market. It brings its signature Japanese craftsmanship and personalised experience to discerning local couples. I-Primo makes finding the gem that reflects your unique love story oh-so easy as it offers an extensive collection of bespoke engagement and wedding rings.

TUDOR’S LATEST STINGS LIKE A BEE

One of the newest releases that has the internet buzzing this month is the Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee”. A bold addition to Tudor’s Daring Watches collection, the watch stuns with its yellow dial and the black sub-counters juxtaposed against it. This reimagined Black Bay Chronograph also comes with a number of upgrades. Those include the redesigned Snowflake hands, the knurling pattern on the pushers, and the three-link bracelet with smooth link sides.

SWAROVSKI GOES ON SUMMER ESCAPADE

Swarovski gets in the mood for summer with its latest creations. Anchored by vivid hues and vibes that last, Swarovski Summertime delivers a juicy burst of energy. Case in point: the candy-coloured jewellery and the captivating fruit charms. But the star of the collection? The delectable strawberry pieces. Made using a debut technique for the brand, the pendant, ring, and charm feature precision-cut red crystals suspended in clear resin to deliver a unique effect.
