Beloved local artist and BURO’s October 2024 cover star Pamela Tan is unveiling her most personal work to date with ‘Specimen Garden’, her first-ever solo exhibition. The show features a brilliant array of sculptural works—created in Tan’s signature style—that blend art, design, and architecture. Each piece takes inspiration from corals, depicting her spatial interpretation of natural systems and ancestral memory. Complementing the sand-coated laser-cut metal bodies of the sculptures are luminous bead-like elements that add extra character and softness to them.
