The Zhongshan Building went Jameson green this past weekend for the electrifying Jameson Distilled Sounds takeover, featuring 18 regional and local artists across four stages. A celebration of music and the latest Jameson x Anderson .Paak Limited-Edition Bottle, the one-night event brought together over 1,000 fans, who were ready to bring the energy to the stages.
With familiar names such as Talitha, Daaliah, and Saint Kylo in the lineup, the evening instantly became the number one highlight of the weekend. JAMESON DISTILLED SOUNDS TAKEOVER AT THE ZHONGSHAN BUILDING
The energy was palpable in Kampung Attap, the scene of the Jameson Distilled Sounds takeover at The Zhongshan Building. As the afternoon made way for the evening, the lights beamed and the sound amplified. Being the first stop on the Jameson Distilled Sounds On Tour schedule, the event needed to show up with a bang and that it did.
Southeast Asian musicians spanning the region took to the four stages throughout the evening, showcasing their raw talent and unwavering passion. Talitha Tan, Saint Kylo, Daaliah, Su San, and Notep were among the headliners hyping up the crowd all night long. And of course, being a celebration of the new Jameson x Anderson .Paak Limited-Edition Bottle, the night also included a refreshing array of original Jameson cocktails by none other than Angel Ji and Steve Foo of Triptyk.
JAMESON X ANDERSON .PAAK LIMITED-EDITION BOTTLE
While the headliners took the spotlight onstage, the new Jameson X Anderson .Paak Limited-Edition Bottle was the center of attention offstage. Housing the iconic Irish whisky, the bottle was designed as a nod to the global artist’s musical journey and unmistakable character. Symbols fans might recognise include his drumsticks, album motifs, cheeky smile, and vinyls as well as tributes to his time in Ireland such as a retro mic and four-leaf clover.
“It was awesome to be involved in the design process, presenting different elements of my personal journey through the label artwork,” shares Anderson .Paak. “It was an incredible experience to immortalise this partnership with a limited-edition bottle. I am looking forward to creating more unforgettable moments with my collaboration with Jameson!”
On the bottle itself is also a special QR code that gives you access to a special interactive studio featuring local pop sweetheart CLAUDIA. Some may know her as the first Malaysian artist to make it to Jameson Distilled Sounds in Ireland where she was mentored by Anderson .Paak himself. In the studio, fans can make their way through her virtual creative space, play mini games, and explore the stories that were pivotal to her career.
