1. ENJOY A DAY OUT AT THE GAMUDA X KHOON HOOI ‘HI-SUMMER POP-UP & FAMILY FUN DAY’

It’s poised to be a day for fashion and fun under the sun this Saturday at the Gamuda x Khoon Hooi Hi-Summer pop-up & family fun day. The leading fashion designer will be bringing his latest summer collection for guests to peruse and shop—including exclusive seasonal pieces. Meanwhile, Gamuda will be hosting private tours of its show units, allowing guests to get up-close and personal with the design and layout of The Clove Signature. In between tours and try-on’s, you can get crafty with a DIY workshop with Have a Nice Day or ER Slime. Waka Waka Gelato and Basket Break Bakehouse will also be on-site to keep you cool and well-fed. For the kids and those who want to get active, there will be some pickleball free play, a carousel, flamingo pedal boats, and a train ride to have fun with.

2. FEEL THE BEATS WITH ‘JAMESON DISTILLED SOUNDS’ AT THE ZHONGSHAN BUILDING

The Zhongshan Building is going Jameson green for the latest chapter of the Jameson Distilled Sounds event and you’re invited! A night dedicated to music, whisky, and community, this event will be your chance to catch 18 Southeast Asian musical talents in one place across a quartet of stages. Not only that, you’ll also be celebrating the whisky house’s latest limited-edition bottle designed in collaboration with Jameson Global Music Distiller and multi-Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak. Names you might recognise on the stages include Talitha Tan, Daahlia, Saint Kylo, and Su San.

3. TAKE FLIGHT WITH SILK AT THE HERMÈS KITE FESTIVAL

Hermès silk scarves have been a symbol of elegance and style since their creation in 1937. Light, striking, and iconic, these scarves have been donned as bandanas, shawls, and more. This weekend, they will take to the skies right here in Kuala Lumpur for the Hermès Kite Festival, a beautiful ode to Hermès silk. Modified to be made from technical fabric, the Plumets et Panaches, Robe Légère and Sur Mon Nuage scarves will be floating through the clouds as kites over the KL skyline—a sight nobody should miss. Other than the dazzling aerial display, guests can also take part in a kite-making workshop, join in on a kite contest or enroll in kite school!

4. GROW, READ, TASTE, LISTEN, AND DRAW WITH KLOÉ HOTEL’S FIFTH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

One of our favourite hotels in the city is turning five and what better way to celebrate than with not one, but two weekends packed with fun workshops, activities, pop-ups, and more! Headlining the events are workshops and pop-ups featuring four out of the five artisans who were instrumental to the creation of Kloé Hotel’s iconic Artist Lofts. Other collaborators and community members such as Ifzan Ibrahim from Saudagar General Store and Manisan Dessert Club will also be taking part in the celebrations with their own activities—all of which go with the theme of the five Artist Lofts: Grow, Read, Taste, Listen and Draw. In addition to the workshops and pop-ups, there will also be an exhibition featuring original works by four local artists, including Willwin Yang, on display in the Living Room.

5. GET C-LUCKY AT UNWINED X LE BIRD’S COLLABORATION POP-UP

Crisp is the word at the Unwined x Le Bird collaboration with crunchy chicken and chilly natural wines taking centre stage. It’s the ultimate show of indulgence and the good life—fried chicken, pours, and caviar, need we say more? Perhaps not, but we will anyway. Lasting all weekend long, the pop-up is all you need for a little “treat yourself” moment. All you have to do is dress for the outdoors and show up with your bellies empty. You can make reservations or play it by ear, but don’t be too ‘lax because we predict things are going to go real quick!

6. CLINK TO THE WEEKEND AT THE TIPSIP WINDOW POP-UP

Starting this weekend, the guardhouse at APW Bangsar is getting a makeover with TipSip’s month-long pop-up. Grab a drink before you stroll through the hub or pick a few up in between shopping sessions—the choice is yours. Aside from its regular lineup, the pop-up will also mark the debut of a new flavour. 10. CONNECT WITH THE WORLD THROUGH ART AT ‘RHYTHM OF NATURE’

Artists Jane Tan, Min Yin Thant, Wong Siew Lee, and Felicia Yee have come together to launch their joint exhibition, ‘Rhythm of Nature’, at Awegallery. The works center around each of the artists’ unique interpretation of nature, touched by their own personal experiences. An ode to the natural world that surrounds us, the exhibition is a showcase of how creativity and diversity emerge from the different voices that respond to nature itself.
