3D2N in Marina Bay Sands: A Curated Itinerary to Satiate Your Ever-Growing Lust for Life
Take us back

Since opening its doors in 2010, Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands has actively redefined luxury hospitality, raking in accolades and acclaim along the way. It has successfully established itself as the hub for leisure, business, and entertainment, and it shows no sign of slowing down. With a US$8 billion expansion plan underway—a project that will bring forth a 15,000-seat entertainment arena and an ultra-luxury hotel capped with a sky roof—the integrated resort shows that even after over a decade of excellence, its best moments are still ahead. That said, there is no reason to hold off on a trip if you’re feeling like it. Marina Bay Sands is a maze of wonder; surprises always lurk in its corners.
We recently flew to the Little Red Dot to experience the resort’s latest offerings—here’s what went down during the three-day, two-night trip:
DAY ONE
STAY: MARINA BAY SANDS HOTEL
Many great things have been said about the luxury hotel propping up Marina Bay Sands. It is, after all, the largest of its kind on the island. But nothing prepares you for the elevated staying experience following the ongoing US$1.75 billion reinvestment project. The Sands Premier Room, a staple of the Sands Collection, offers more than just sophisticated design. It is now outfitted with luxurious features. Think bespoke armoire and cocktail trolley, a 75-inch Samsung television with Yamaha sound bar, and a two-person bathtub.
LUNCH: ESTIATORIO MILOS
The world-famous Estiatorio Milos has finally landed in Asia, and it’s everything you hoped it would be—and then some. The fine dining restaurant, which started operation last year, brings the best of the Greek culinary traditions through its unique menu. One of the highlights here is the creamy, savoury, and slightly sweet Athenian-style lobster pasta. If you don’t want to take our word for it, feel free to check out the restaurant’s fish market yourself, where a variety of wild-caught fish air-flown daily from the Mediterranean awaits.
EXPLORE: ARTSCIENCE MUSEUM
We always say that no trip to Marina Bay Sands is complete without an outing to the ArtScience Museum. But we have good reason to be really excited this time—the Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses exhibition has just landed. Taking place from 15 March to 10 August 2025, the exhibition marks the Dutch designer’s first solo showcase in Asia. No less than 140 of her exquisite creations are put on display, including the ethereal custom Heliosphere gown Beyoncé wore on her Renaissance World Tour!
DINNER: MAISON BOULUD
Spending a whole afternoon at the museum can be taxing, so make your way to Maison Boulud for some much-needed respite. The acclaimed two-storey restaurant, which is situated along the waterfront promenade of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, is known for its classic French dishes. Its ibérico pork loin and crispy porchetta served with Puy lentils a la Lyonnaise and a tangy Charcutière sauce is a fan-favourite. Pair it with a glass of wine and enjoy the Singapore skyline like you never have before.
DRINKS: YARDBIRD SOUTHERN TABLE & BAR
The night is still young! So take yourself to Yardbird Southern Table & Bar—literally next to Maison Boulud—for a nightcap. Offering an extensive selection of whiskeys, from the rare favourite Pappy Van Winkle to Wild Turkey, this restobar is a haven for the weary soul. But if you’re not the whiskey type, you can opt for the handcrafted cocktails or a series of gin and tonics instead. Just park yourself in the alfresco dining area, take the night air, and maybe order yourself Yardbird’s signature recipe, Lewellyn’s fine fried chicken.
SEE: SPECTRA – A LIGHT & WATER SHOW
If you have 15 minutes to spare before heading back to your room, take a night stroll along the nearby Event Plaza for Spectra. The light and water show, developed by Australia-based agency Imagination, takes place nightly from 9pm to 9.15pm. It narrates the story of Singapore through an awe-inspiring choreography of fountain jets, colourful visual projections, lasers, as well as lava and mist effects. Elevating the whole experience is the heart-stopping orchestral soundtrack, meticulously designed to complement the visuals.
DAY TWO
BREAKFAST: RISE
Start your day right with a hearty morning meal at Rise. Located at the hotel lobby (Tower 1), this all-day buffet restaurant serves over 100 delicacies from all over the world. From Asian breakfast staples like prata and dim sum to freshly made pastries, the spread here will make you feel right at home. There’s also nasi lemak on the menu—we wouldn’t exactly say it’s better than our own, but it’s close. Those who wish to get some vitamin D while they’re at it may head to Rise Outdoor, a relaxing spot enveloped by lush greenery.
EXPLORE: SANDS SKYPARK
Marina Bay Sands is among the few places in the world that promise an elevated luxury experience and mean it literally. Perched at 200 metres above ground, connecting the three hotel towers, the surfboard-shaped Sands SkyPark is a must-visit. This garden-on-air is the perfect spot for a photo op, whether you choose to take a dip in the 150-metre infinity pool, partake in the hotel’s wellness programme at the observation deck, or simply gawk at Singapore’s spectacular skyline from one of the restaurants.
LUNCH: BLACK TAP
All that walking, swimming, and yoga is bound to work up quite an appetite. So make a beeline for Black Tap and indulge in its New York-style burgers, CrazyShake milkshakes, and craft beers. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the selections, just know that you can’t go wrong with the Greg Norman Burger, which serves up premium wagyu beef. To wash it off with something less sinful, go for the fully vegan Black ’N’ White Cakeshake— a chocolate milkshake topped with a slice of black and white cake.
SEE: SANDS THEATRE
Looking for something fun and simultaneously fulfilling? Sands Theatre is where the action is at. We had the opportunity to catch the Broadway blockbuster musical Wicked during our stay, and needless to say, the cast blew the roof off the venue. While the show has recently concluded its run, you will be pleased to know that there will be plenty of high-profile plays headed for Sands Theatre this year like Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
DINNER: KOMA
A typical two-act play generally runs for a couple of hours, so getting dinner before the curtain rises is advisable. We would recommend Koma. This Japanese restaurant is perfect for those who love robatayaki-style dining. But if one is just looking to pass the time, head over to the bar and check out the 30-plus types of sake sourced from across Japan. Take a minute to appreciate the restaurant’s impressive design features, too. The 2.5-metre-high Japanese bell that overlooks a foot bridge, for instance, is a sight to behold.
EXPLORE: MARQUEE
It’s your last night at Marina Bay Sands! Put on your dancing shoes and follow the beats all the way to Marquee. Decked out with innovative technology, pristine sound, and playful design features like a Ferris Wheel and a spiralling three-storey slide, this nightclub is the crown jewel of Singapore’s nightlife. The club recently painted the town metallic for its anniversary, and we were there to witness it. The evening’s biggest moment? Definitely when DJ Dimitri Vegas took over the decks and led the crowd into a dance frenzy.
DAY THREE
BREAKFAST: SPAGO BAR & LOUNGE
There’s really only one place to be after a long night of partying—Spago Bar & Lounge. Smack dab on the Sands SkyPark, Spago Bar & Lounge not only offers a delectable breakfast menu but also a laid-back environment that allows you to start the day at your own pace. Settle into its little cabana and take in the stunning views of the city while you go over the all-new morning menu. Spago’s breakfast signature, Kaya French Toast with seared foie gras, is a must-try before you hop on the plane back to Malaysia.
