Stepping into every watch enthusiast’s wonderland — the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture

Up in the mountains of Vallée du Joux lies the revered Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, standing stately in the heart of Le Sentier, a small village with a population of 3,000 and just about an hour away from Geneva. It was my first watch manufacture visit, and one can’t help but be stoked to be introduced to the fundamentals and intricacies of the watchmaking craft at the Jaeger-LeCoultre headquarters. From what I’ve gleaned from fellow watch writers prior to the trip, it is one of the most comprehensive and all-encompassing watch manufactures in the industry, and an eye-opening experience is all but guaranteed.
