3 Asian Games 2018 special edition timepieces for your collection

On 18 August 2018, the 18th Asian Games will kick off in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. Taking up the crucial role of official timekeeper is Tissot—an apt appointment, given the Swiss watch brand’s rich history (dating back to 1938, to be exact) with the games and sports timekeeping.

“The Asian Games perfectly reflect the Tissot spirit by their diversity and dynamism and allow us to set ourselves apart with impeccable timekeeping and the most accurate measurement, which further confirms the quality of our watches,” says François Thiébaud, Tissot President. “Even though we have provided our services to the Asian Games before, we strive to bring even more precision and innovation on every occasion, as we do for our watches. ‘Innovators by tradition’ is our motto and we stand by it.”

To commemorate the Asian Games, Tissot introduces three special edition timepieces from its existing collection: T-Touch Expert Solar, Chrono XL and PR 100. The already sporty T-Touch Expert Solar gets an ultra-bold update with a vivid red strap, while the Chrono XL and PR 100 take on the games with a subtle pop of colour with red second hands. All three timepieces come with the Asian Games Jakarta Palembang logo on the caseback.

The Tissot Asian Games special edition timepieces are now available in stores.
