At the International Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, TAG Heuer was announced as the official watch partner of Aston Martin and Aston Martin Racing. The exciting partnership between the two esteemed brands is marked by the creation of two collector-worthy special edition timepieces: the Carrera Calibre Heuer 01 chronograph and the Formula 1 chronograph.
If you love the new Aston Martin Vantage, you’ll definitely appreciate the details on the TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 01, particularly the hexagonal pattern on the dial, making for a unique skeletonised design with the chronograph movement peeking through. Lines are etched to the side of the 45mm steel case to evoke the race track and the notion of speed, and the shape of the lugs are inspired by the silhouette of Aston Martin’s bodywork.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1, on the other hand, is inspired by Aston Martin Racing, a model that embodies performance and speed. It wears Aston Martin’s iconic winged logo, and the brand’s signature lime essence accents adorn the dial and black leather strap. Fun fact: it is the first time a leather strap is used in the TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection. The 43mm steel case houses the quartz chronograph movement that is accurate to a tenth of a second.
