Don’t be fooled by their feminine dispositions or glittering façades, these technical beauties house stellar complications within

Richard Mille RM 07-03 Marshmallow

A Richard Mille in all its full-pastel glory? You better believe it. Part of the Richard Mille Bonbon collection, the Swiss watchmaker's idea of sweet treats and fruity creations (think Cupcake and Kiwi) generated polarising buzz when it was unveiled at SIHH earlier this year—but we have to say, we kinda dig it. We're particularly drawn to the RM 07-03 Marshmallow. On one side you get a delectable hand-enamelled swirl of pastel marshmallows, and through the case back you'll get to admire the calibre CRMA1 skeletonised automatic in-house movement packed in a lavender pink TZP ceramic and white ATZ ceramic case—talk about tough wrist candy.

Roger Dubuis Excalibur 36 Shooting Star

Roger Dubuis first introduced the Excalibur 36 Shooting Star last year, its smallest skeleton flying tourbillon yet fitted in an elegant 36mm case. This dainty feat was made possible by the RD510SQ Poinçon de Genève-certified calibre, a result of two years of development by the brand's watchmakers based off the existing X42 tourbillon. 2019 sees two new and very limited-edition options (28 to be exact) of pink or blue emerge—the former flaunts white mother-of-pearl décor details on the inside, while the latter comes with a sophisticated blue sunburst feature. Both catch the eye with Roger Dubuis' iconic astral signature with complementing enamel stars framed by a glittering bezel.

Bvlgari Diva Finissima Minute Repeater

When Bvlgari combined its thinnest minute repeater movement with the alluring Divas' Dream silhouette, we expected nothing less than a knock-out timepiece and the Maison most certainly delivered. With the record-breaking calibre BVL 362 at its heart, the Diva Finissima Minute Repeater bears a 37mm pink gold case studded with diamonds, its feminine shape accentuated by the fan-inspired lugs and charm/minute repeater slider. The dial is decorated with Japanese urushi lacquer, sprinkled with gold dust to stunning effect.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph

If you've been wishing for a Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph in a more wearable size, looks like it's time to make space in your watch arsenal for a new mainstay. Audemars Piguet introduced the new 38mm silhouette to its iconic Royal Oak range this year in four configurations: two steel versions and two in rose gold with different dial variants. It might not be the most glamorous or revolutionary timepiece on this list, but this sporty chronograph with the reliable in-house calibre 2383 is bound to be a favourite for years to come.
