Shhh, this hidden rooftop bar and restaurant may only be weeks old, but it’s a matter of time before it’s the talk of the town. Perched on the top floor of RexKL, Shhhbuuuleee is the latest hangout spot in downtown KL for small plates, grilled items, and noodles as well as highballs, shochu, and natural wines, among other food and beverages. The premise’s ceiling and walls retain its old, rugged look, offering a quaint charm that mirrors the overall laid-back atmosphere of the cultural and creative hub it calls home.

10. The Bread Bar
The latest to join the Klang Valley’s catalogue of artisanal bakeries is The Bread Bar, giving folks around the TTDI neighbourhood a new place to satisfy their carb cravings. Handbaked using only organic stone-milled flours, the breads here take at least three days to make from start to finish to ensure maximum flavour. Besides your sourdough, croissants, and focaccia, the café also serves small plates, mains, and sandwiches.
