How she got started: She made her SEA Games debut in Jakarta in 1997 when she was only 13 years old. The following year, she was selected to be part of the national diving team for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
Notable achievements: A veteran diver with twenty years of experience under her belt, she has made it to the Olympic Games four times and was most notably known for winning the first World Championship medal for Malaysia in 2009 with Pandelela Rinong. To date, she has won 17 gold medals in the SEA Games.
What is she up to now: After delivering two gold medals in the 2017 SEA Games, she has said she is game for another round in the Philippines in 2019 with not a thought about retirement just yet. She will next compete in the FINA Grand Prix meets in Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.
