It’s time for fashion to meet the future with the Michael Kors Access smartwatch, perfect for on-the-go days while staying stylish

Michael Kors has joined the recent trend of smartwatches by unveiling his own line of them. Aptly called the Michael Kors Access display smartwatch, the brand's new wearable tech is designed to give the user constant access to their daily lives from all aspects, be it social connectivity or health and fitness.

"Our customers love fashion and they're plugged in 24/7," says Michael Kors. "I think they'll appreciate having social connectivity and health and fitness tracking all within a great-looking accessory."

Some of the features available on the Michael Kors Access smartwatch include exclusive Michael Kors display watch faces which can be changed easily with a swipe at any time of the day, a touchscreen display that provides social media updates, text, email alerts as well as Google search and built-in fitness tracking. While there are glamours versions for women and sporty designs for men, the smartwatch is still very much customisable with interchangeable leather and silicone wristbands.

Another favourite feature of the smartwatch is that it uses wireless magnetic charging but if all you're wondering right now is if it'll be compatible with your phone, then the answer is "Yes". Thanks to a partnership with Google and their Android Wear smartwatch platform, the Michael Kors Access smartwatch is both iPhone and Android-friendly.

The Michael Kors Access smartwatches start at US$350 while the activity trackers alone start at US$95 and are both available in Michael Kors stores, and select department and specialty stores.
