This Michael Kors activity tracker can help Watch Hunger Stop
For a good Kors (cause)
Michael Kors is continuing his efforts for the fourth year running to help Watch Hunger Stop in anticipation of World Food Day on 16 October; and this time, he has a few extra new initiatives up his sleeves. To date, the brand's campaign to fight global hunger has helped the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to deliver more than 13 million meals to children in need. The centrepiece of this year's campaign is a special edition activity tracker that is part of the new Michael Kors Access line of wearable technology.
Exclusively designed to highlight the cause, the activity tracker comes with a sleek, understated map of the world on its white mother-of-pearl face and the words "Watch Hunger Stop" embossed on the leather band. It will enable you to set goals, track steps and distance covered as well as calories burned, and monitor your sleep activity.
As the activity tracker will be powered by the Michael Kors Access app, it is compatible for both iPhone and Android devices. Thanks to a coin cell battery, it requires no charging and you can take photos, play music and find your phone due to its remote control link functionality.
Kate Hudson, who is once again teaming up with Michael Kors to support the cause, said, "We are all responsible for making sure the world's children grow up healthy, happy, strong and educated and that all begins with eradicating hunger."
Both the men's and women's activity trackers will retail for US$145, and will be sold exclusively in selected Michael Kors stores and on MichaelKors.com.
