The World’s Most Expensive Yee Sang is in Malaysia

To celebrate this Chinese New Year, Groupon and Ruyi & Lyn have teamed up to create the World’s Most Expensive Yee Sang—its grand value: RM16,888+

Yee sang has always been a favourite tradition when it comes to Chinese New Year. During the entire festive period, it's normal to have tossed five to ten times - or more. But a five-figure valued yee sang? It's shocking but the taste, variety and freshness of the ingredients live up to its worth.

Also known as the #GrandYeeSang, it is lavished with exotic ingredients such as: Australian dry eight-head abalones, black winter truffles from Italy, French Osetra Sturgeon caviar, Japanese sea urchin (uni), bluefin otoro tuna belly, Botan-ebi sweet shrimp sashimi, Dom Perignon Vintage 2005 and French gold dusk powder; even most of the vegetables used are imported.

Groupon Malaysia and Ruyi & Lyn's partner effort comes from their desire to create a unique twist as part of the festive celebrations; and it doesn't go unnoticed as it has been awarded the world title by online world record site, RecordSetter

The #GrandYeeSang can be pre-ordered at Ruyi & Lyn but otherwise, you and five friends can have a taste of it in an exclusive RM0 deal contest on Groupon. Head over to between 2 to 15 February 2016 and enter the competition for a chance to win. The winner will be announced on 16 February 2016.
