5 – 8 July, Hansel and Gretel @ KLPac

Performed by the Kuala Lumpur City Opera, Hansel and Gretel follows the story of two mischievous children who were punished by their Mother and whilst picking berries in the forest encounters the Sandman, Dew Fairy and the evil Witch who turns children into gingerbread.

6 – 8 July, Made In China | Photography Exhibition by 懿璇 Yi Xuan Wang @ RAW Art Space

According to the artist and photographer herself, the photography exhibition is “True, serious, ironic, funny, coincidental. This is the life I that I’ve encountered. It happened to be in China. But I don’t define it. I hope it brings you some contexts and associations. It is pretty straight forward and simple.”

A solo exhibition by Malaysian artist Sean Lean, 3 focuses on the trinity which rules in natural things. The body, soul, and spirit; the past, present and future. Presented in a series of triptychs, each artwork provide commentary on different issues ranging from the political, social, and religious to the personal and intimate, with the panels playing off one another to highlight contrast.

PAN Productions present Company, the acclaimed Broadway musical with a comedic and entertaining take on bachelorhood, marriage and middle age woes. Peter Ong, Dina Nadzir, Brian Cheong, Sabrina Hasan and Iz Sulaini will star in the premier staging of this musical in Malaysia.
