The cooking demonstration will be followed by a 3-course set lunch (complete with a glass of wine) but if the title is new to you, the 'Legendary Laksa' is Chef Naim of Southern Rock Seafood's unique twist to the classic favourite served with fresh mussels. Learn how to make this amazing dish at home and go home with a happy tummy, the recipe and a jar of the laksa paste.

The class is priced at RM150 per person but there is a 10 per cent discount when you book online via the Southern Rock Seafood website. For more information, visit their Facebook.

2. Waku Waku Japan Festival at Pavilion KL, till 14 August

Pavilion KL's Tokyo Street is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a summer festival within the premier mall and the lineup of exclusive stalls and events are sure to thrill everyone. 3. Double Dose: The Home Base at lululemon athletics Kuala Lumpur, Bangsar, 8.45am - 5.30pm, 16 July

After that, it's just party all day at the showroom.

4. Cocktails X Coffee at Bean Reserve, Bangsar, 10am, 16 July

Not just any coffee, not just any liquor and not just one method of combining the two - Bean Reserve's caffeine maestro Jeremy Chan and Wholly Spirits' 'Chief Intoxicologist' (also an internationally renowned bartender) Callan C Green will take you through a session about the love affair between the two as well as new techniques to marry them for an exciting drink.

The session is priced at RM30 per person and includes tastings and a cocktail. For more information, visit their Facebook.

5. Oysters x Craft Beer (and a BBQ) at TAPS Beer Bar, Changkat, 4pm - 10pm, 17 July
