7. “Find Your Lucky Star” pop-up restaurant at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel, lunch/dinner, till 29 Dec

Get your kirakira app at the ready because this one-of-a-kind pop-up restaurant is out of this world. Conceptualised by multi-award-winning global interior designer Emma Maxwell, “Find Your Lucky Star” begins by entering a mesmerising space within a box. Inside, a fantastical scene will present itself to the guests and the scenery will change throughout the meal, from an “upside down” landscape of clouds and treetops to a dark void to a shimmering star field.

Part of the magical experience includes a finely crafted menu by Chef Francois Merlimood of famed French dining restaurant in Singapore, Bar-A-Thym (12 – 16 December) as well as Chef Gaetano Di Stefano of the hotel’s signature Italian restaurant, Villa Danieli (17 – 29 December). From Chef Francois, expect contemporary French dishes such as milk-fed veal tenderloin, foie gras foam, heirloom baby carrot and buckwheat, paired with Capel Vale Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. From Chef Gaetano, expect the true Italian taste with highlights such as baked turbot with braised Mediterranean vegetables, sea urchin foam and tomato vanilla sauce paired with 2013 MAZZEI Fonterutoli Chianti Classico DOCG.

Each session is limited to only 12 persons. The “Find your Lucky Star” experience is available at RM 238 nett for a 4-course lunch with wine pairing or RM 188 nett with mocktail, and RM 438 nett for a 6-course dinner with wine pairing or RM 388 nett with mocktail.
