Sitting for tin type portrait can be a soul stirring process. The detail, depth of field and natural sepiatone is lost on digital cameras.. not to mention watching your portrait literally come to life. Video one is a finished 8x10 wet plate collodion in a water bath. Video two is watching the image come to life in the fixer. No wonder people thought photos stole your soul.
