After the mesmerising looks inspired by Greek goddesses of the past at the Dior Cruise 2022 show, Artistic Director Kim Jones is next with his rendition of the Dior Summer 2022 Men’s Collection. The biggest clue we have so far is that it will be a collaboration with American artist Travis Scott, as part of Jones’s continuing efforts to conduct inspiring dialogues with pioneering personalities. It will be the first full Dior collection ever created in collaboration with a musician.
If Scott and his music are news to your ears, the Grammy-nominated artist is also a songwriter, producer, business mogul, and designer. He has even been recognised as one of the most influential creative visionaries of his generation, as well as one of the leading hip hop artists. A man with many creative talents, he is also the CEO of the creative collective known as Cactus Jack, which has gone on to work with big companies in the world. In addition, he has even started a Cactus Jack Foundation to help the youths and partnered with Parsons School of Design to start a fashion program as well as launch a scholarship program.
The show will be unveiled in Paris on June 25 at 2.30pm Paris time (8.30pm on June 25, Malaysian time) live on Youtube or you can come back here.
