From bright Cheeto to warm rust hues, orange is the colour du jour on the streets of London
As we approach the second week of 2020, London Men's Fashion Week has kicked off the Autumn/Winter 2020 season (yes, it has begun). And while the rest of the cities (Florence, Milan, and Paris) are known for their chic and polished designs, we can always count on the British capital to shake up the fashion with its subversive designs, whether it's on the runway or on the streets. This round, as showgoers braced the chilly January temperature, instead of dressing in fail-proof neutrals for the gloomy weather, they were determined to bring a ray of sunshine to the sidewalks. How? In the form of bright orange hues that'll uplift the glummest of moods.
While look 8 and 13's outfits scream "orange is the new black" like no other, most of the stylistas opted to let the vibrant shade take centre stage by balancing it with neutral black, white, and beige colours. On the other hand, some amped up the volume with contrasting hues. Give this colour combo—that turned out unexpectedly well—a try: Bright orange with aquamarine à la look 3 and 11. Next stop: Firenze!
