New York Fashion Week SS17: Day 6 Street Style
It is often tacitly assumed that the default uniform of fashion's coolest is built on blacks and whites. If you asked us, the vibrant palette that clothed showgoers effectively debunks that bleak misconception.
The streets outside show venues witnessed colours aplenty. Bright poppy hues made prominent appearances. Some were decked from head-to-toe in summery tones while others' considerably more subtle use of colour was an invigorating splash of springtime cheer.
To subdue the rainbow driven glee, neutral colourways were also present on the sixth day. Ensembles in earthtones ranging from orchre to terracotta revived our adoration of the simplistic and classic character of the palette. With such vast chromatic options presented by Mother Nature, a failure to explore a wardrobe of neutrals would be a complete shame.
