Talk the talk
The fashion designer (and architecture graduate) covered a range of topics during his talk at the Harvard Graduate School of Design
Not a newbie in lecturing (he gave a design talk at New York's Columbia University earlier this year), this round, Virgil has taken the time off his busy schedule in the midst of his Nike and Ikea collaboration projects to deliver a lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Titled "Program Organisation, Sequencing Experiences", the talk focused mostly on contemporary design theory, which is no doubt a familiar territory for Virgil, thanks to his background in design and architecture. During the lecture, the designer also touched on a variety of subjects, from giving an insight into his partnership with Ikea (the products will cost under USD$50), and on his choice to "talk in quotes".
