The Fashion Awards 2016: Who are the nominees?

The Royal Albert Hall in London will host the who’s who of the fashion industry for a night of celebration in conjuction with the 2016 Fashion Awards, sponsored by Swarovski. Previously known as the British Fashion Awards, this year’s rebranding reflects a vision that encompasses a wider scope of acknowledgement by the British Fashion Council as more international names, brands, categories and awards are introduced.

Before the commencement of the event, there are a few things to keep on your radar. First up, our fingers are crossed for our very own, Malaysian-born designer, Han Chong, whose London-based label—Self Portrait—will be contending for the British Emerging Talent award. As we do that, we’re keeping peepers peeled to see if the battle of the Hadids in the International Model category will thrust one sister above the other. Also, could record breaker, Jonathan Anderson—who took home both the awards for British Menswear and Womenswear Designer in 2015 for his label J.W. Anderson—repeat the feat; or perhaps add to his collection with the International Accessories Designer award (for Loewe) as well?
