Following its first collaboration with One Piece last year, Skechers once again teams up with the popular anime to launch an all-new Skechers x One Piece collection. The second series in the collaboration sees the latest Skechers D’Lites 3.0 silhouette dressed in new styles and colours inspired by five characters from ‘The Battle of Marineford’—an important story arc in the anime series—namely: Monkey D. Luffy, Portgas D. Ace, Trafalgar D. Water Law, Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard) and Jinbe.

Seeing how the trends of yesteryears continue to dominate the fashion scene, the chunky sneaker is probably not going anywhere anytime soon (even Thai star Chutimon vouches for its timelessness). The D’Lites 3.0 embraces the classic retro sneaker aesthetic but elevates it with an even chunkier outsole for a modernised, statement-making profile.
